TheatreMidwest brings the world premiere of The Gull to Des Moines.

The Gull  is a riff on Anton Chekhov's classic "show about nothing," The Seagull, in which a young man is pining after the woman of his dreams, a successful writer longs for a sense of achievement, and an actress wants to fight the changing of the times. Dreams die, hopes are dashed, and everyone loves the wrong person! What could go wrong?

One actor performs all 10 characters in this 90-minute, fresh and witty play that will have you asking "what is wrong with these people?!"
